Shelves: popular-fiction, and-saw-the-movie, z-read-in-2010
For some reason, this book failed to charm me. It reasonably well written but I found it hard to care for any of the characters. The world that was built was interesting on some level and exploring that kept the story from getting dull but overall, I felt like I'd taken the Railroad at Disneyworld. I could see some interesting things in the distance but nothing about the trip itself was exciting. I kept wishing I'd opted for the cablecars.
