I did not enjoy this book. It drug on and on, and I wouldn't have finished it had it not been for the urging of some friends. I admit I skim read a lot of it. I feel like it's a bunch of plot lines that have all been done before all smooshed together into one book that was far too long, and not nearly as tense as I would expect for the colossal mindfuck that the story is. I don't even know how to rate this. On the one hand, I was listening to this on audio, and I could NOT stop listening. On the other hand, the ending was super unsatisfying. So, 5 stars for really compelling writing, and 1 star for being unable to close, makes 3 stars average. ...more

What a crazy story! Had more profanity than I like in books, but I liked the dual perspective and unreliable narration. Some nice twists but boo to the ending! I don’t think it should stop as it did.
