If you are reading this book because of the Netflix series, expect serious differences! Now that’s out of the way, let’s get to my review.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I’ve had so many Shirley Jackson books on my tbr’s for a while now, but I’ve had so many other books to read. Listened to the audiobook and I hated it. Eleanor was suppose to be an adult but she read like she was like 12. And I hated how whinny she came across. The book is only 182 pages long and I couldn't force myself to finish it.
