I delayed reading this book for so long because I wasn’t interested in long descriptive passages about marshlands,no matter how beautifully written.
My loss to have missed out on this beautiful story for so long. I LOVED this book. I loved the writing, loved bthe beautiful descriptions of the natural world, Kya, aka the Marsh Girl, was a well developed fully fleshed out character. For most of the book the plot is quite gentle, even so I couldn’t put it down. While driving I I listened to the won ...more
