It was kind of refreshing to have a serial killer whose motives were so far from the norm. Usually there's some perverse sexual nature to it and the killing centers around the victim and what happens to them. But in this book it was more centered on what the product of the murder was and the victims were an afterthought.

At first I was a little offended by the way the author portrayed the women being killed. I felt they were not portrayed as human beings but just things to be coveted. But then I ...more
