Listened to the audiobook version, and sometimes found my mind wandering a bit, but I loved the narrator of this one- if you get a chance, listen! I absolutely loved how she made an entire story out of many of my favorite Greek myths! What a weaving of tales- I believe the author might own a loom much like the mythological Daedalus!

Not being very well versed in Greek mythology, I wasn't really sure what was going on in the story at first. Lots of characters mentioned, lots of mythy stuff. I wasn't sure about it at all, but stuck with it and I'm glad I did.

Circe was an interesting character, and by the end I really felt for her.

This was a Book of the Month selection and I'm finally reading it thanks to people who weighed in on my Bookstagram. ...more
