What Members Thought
I debated about how many stars to give this one. I enjoyed the book but I thought there were flaws. The weird introductions at the beginning were off putting. The "I'm just abridging Morgenstern's book" device was much less effective than the "grandpa reads to sick grandson" device in the movie. The ending was disjointed and returned to the weird introduction mode. However the middle was funny and delightful. On the whole I think this book should get 3 stars but I am bumping it up to 4 in honor
