I have such mixed feelings about this book and don’t know what to rate it. First, I listened to it on audiobook. Sometimes, this made it go by more quickly; at other times, the narrator’s voice grafted. Second, is the structure of the story. I’m not familiar with true crime literature, so I don’t know the various ways to organize the story. This story jumped from present to past to way back to present and wove many side tales throughout the broader arc of the story. Third, the content. To say th ...more
