this is a book I read in order to complete my reading of Capote. I was surprised by how much I liked it, though I enjoyed everything of his I had ever read.

This book was kind of odd. It wasn't very long, and that's probably why I was able to finish it, but I'm just not sure what I felt about it. For the first half I was wondering what the book was even about. But somehow I was still interested in what I was reading. Now that I've finished it, I'm still not sure what the book was about. Maybe I'm just not "deep" enough. ...more
