What Members Thought
I read a thing on the internet a long time ago about this book, it was on the reaction that Stephen King had about the movie. He had not liked what they did to the movie, completely changing the ending. I know going into this that the ending was going to be different in the book then it was in the movie but I had no idea that it was going to be like it was. Now that I have read the book and seen the movie (Granted it's been awhile since I've seen it) I have to agree with Stephen, they screwed up

This just didn't do much for me. I didn't like most of the characters. I feel like Jack already had a lot of inner demons so it didn't take much to push him over the edge. The topiary was not creepy to me. At all. And I'm a wimp. The book is well written so I initially gave it three stars, but after some thought it was just okay for me so I took it to two stars.
