What Members Thought
This was my second time reading this and it definitely affected me more this time around. On my first read it was just an interesting idea: a society completely under the control of its government. Since then I have read books on North Korea. I'm a South Korean who immigrated to Canada when I was 7 and now live in the States. I never bothered to learn much about North Korea until recently. Just on a whim, not connecting the two at all, I decided to reread 1984. I was disturbed by what I read.

Buku ini aku baca 5 tahun lalu . Sebelumnya aku hanya memberi rating 3 bintang. Mungkin terlalu tergesa membacanya. Dibaca ulang tahun ini dengan lebih memahami dan meresapi setiap kata, setiap kalimat yang ditulis oleh George Orwell. Dan sekarang harus diakui bahwa buku ini layak mendapat 5 bintang.
