I can’t believe I’ve waited so long to read this book and discover the true version of Peter Pan for myself (compared to the movies I love so much, looking at you Hook). I think everyone can relate to certain aspects of the book and it’s done in such a good way, that I flew right through the pages. However, I can’t help imagining how much better this book could have been if it had been longer and had a chance to properly go into it. To explore Neverland, to develop and meet the Lost Boy ...more

Actually less racist and sexist then I was expecting. I didn't really like it, but it's meant to appeal to little boys, so that isn't really surprising. The final chapter is seriously depressing. And I don't care what Barrie thinks, dogs do have souls.
