I have to say, as a kid I never liked Peter Pan. The concept of wanting to stay a kid forever was completely lost on me. I wanted to grow up faster because I thought being a kid was the worst.
As an adult, I can see the appeal of this story for parents because it's clearly a story about losing a child either to death or to growing up. Was anyone else kinda bummed out by the ending?
I just could not get into Peter Pan. I think I've seen the movie adaptations too many times to truly enjoy this.
