I really enjoyed this! It makes me wonder why it isn't more famous, more known. I mean at least in my country people haven't heard of Robin Hobb that much. The writing is, of course, amazing, and even though this is mostly the story of Fitz's childhood it's so gripping and so interesting you can't put it down.
The problems he faces aren't problems that make the reader think ''the solution is obvious'' but problems that are truly conflicting and that make you wonder how is he gonna get out of ...more

*With a sigh of content* This is the 1st time in a LONG time that it hurts to have finished a book. I'm torn - part of me wants to jump head first into the next book while another part of me wants to savour and mull this story over and over.
