Assassins Apprentice, wow. I can't sing praises about the author's writing style in a new way. Because everybody who reviewed, had already done that. But I will only say this, hands down to the prose she wrote👏👏👏. So many things could go wrong by this kind of story telling but, nothing went out of line. After reading Liveship Traders trilogy, I didn't think I would enjoy this trilogy as much because of how epic the Liveships traders was. But I really enjoyed A.A. and going straight into Royal Assassin.
I know I read in the wrong order but I couldn't wait for Farseer Trilogy to arrive when I already had Liveship trilogy right in front of me.
I'm really starting to fall in love with Robin Hobb's stories, so good. ...more
