Listened to audio book for most of Saturday while doing my house work, laundry etc. I hastened the speed a bit tho. Guy was drawing out his words way too much. Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable listen that had me captivated from the first few pages.

The MC's are really well developed. The story is told from 1st person POV and it was done extremely well. Gonna get started on the next book ASAP. Gotta know about the Forging ...more

I enjoyed this book. A good start to the series and introduction to the Realm of The Elderlings. 1 down 15 to go 😅. The last 5 chapters were pure gold, enjoyed it more than I expected.
