The Atheist and the Parrotfish is the story of Dr. Cullen Brodie, a middle aged, twice-divorced nephrologist, scarred by a horrible tragedy from his college days, caused indirectly by his own poor choices and actions. This backstory, artfully revealed throughout the first half of the book, blends with his current journey of redemption, as he seeks a way to make sense of his painful past.
