This book was an experience. It was so relatable. It was written in 1949 but I felt like Cassandra shares the same problems with me. The first love, the first heartbreak, not able to choose the right guys and the kiss.
The book also has a pride and prejudice aspect to it. The husband hunting caught Rose and everyone wanted her to be settled with the rich Simon Cotton mostly for their own selfish needs. But we see how that ends in the very end.
