The City of Brass is an adult fiction fantasy featuring a cast of pretty much all brown morally grey characters. What's unique about this novel is the morally grey characters. This novel is created after a war that divides the two "sides" of characters. As readers, we get to hear from both sides and this leads us to struggle with which side to support. At each stage of the novel, I was supporting someone different and after the end, I am absolutely flabbergasted ...more
