What Members Thought
A tightly woven novel with exceptional prose. I was blown away by the author's ability to capture the setting a people mainly through the use of scents. Many times it was a scent that I didn't have any idea how the object smelled, but was described so perfectly I had no trouble imagining it. The pace draws you along quickly and you get so wrapped up in the story you don't realize how grotesque it truly is until you are done. Although not a lot of complexity, it was thought-provoking.
