A friend suggested I read this book about a girl with Down's Syndrome. I didn't think I'd like it but I did. It's about a lot more than that. A doctor delivers his wife's male and female twins. When he realizes immediately that the girl twin has Down's, he sends her to an institution and lies to the wife that the infant died at birth. That lie basically destroys his life.
