So I just realized for some odd reason I never posted my review on Goodreads for this....awkward. But here it is now!

“Patience and Silence had one beautiful daughter. And her name was Vengeance.”I am so pumped after reading this. I liked Illuminae, and loved the intricate formatting, but I was never wowed by the story. Genima brought everything together and I was so invested in all the characters, new and old. We follow Hanna and Nik, an unlikely pair abroad Jump Station Heimdall as they must team up to save not only themselves, but their home.

ALL OF THE STARS IN THE WORLD!!!!!
Kaufman and Kristoff have done it again. I can't even say how amazing this sequel was, but it was amazing! Now, how long do I have to wait for the finale....?

I loved Illuminae book one in the series so much. It was one of my favorite reads of 2016, you can read my review HERE if you want. I had really high hopes for Gemina, like really really high hopes! My mom even got me it for my birthday, because it came out around the same time last year and it was the thing I wanted the most for my birthday.

Gemina was an amazing sequel that really pushed on where the Illuminae files will go, It gave a us great new characters and a really well done plot. It makes you want to see where the story and the characters will go.

This book is a companion novel to Illuminae… So please read that before you read Gemina. There are so many things you won’t understand. I am dying to get my hands on the audio version of this because the audio version of Illuminae was amazing! This book is basically written in text/emails/documents from what happened at the time of the disturbance at Heimdall. While you think that would be boring you grow a genuine bond with the characters and what is happening. Some stuff you will see coming an

I took a break from this book halfway through as it was a library book and I wasn't going to take it to Asia with me.
Hanna is the spoilt daughter of a ship's captain and Nik is her drug dealer but when the ship gets attacked by an elite strike team Hanna and Nik are some of the only passengers left on the ship. Somehow they will need to use their teenage strength and resources to take the ship back before a wormhole opens in the middle.
