This book is overly hyped. I think that's because it's an erotica that went mainstream. It's not as off-the-charts as people/media make it seem. The protagonist, Ana, pisses me off so I will not be reading anymore of the series unless I find out that she finally gets some sense in that airhead of hers. The only reason why I kept reading is because I'm curious to know Grey's story. What made him the way he is? Was it his early childhood, Mrs. Robinson, or both; or is it just his nature (he was bo

Okay, so the writing isn't overwhelmingly good, but the story (yes, the story) sucked me in. The characters are believable, even if all the dialogue isn't necessarily.
