Full Review on my blog!

Wow! This turned out to be super fun! Let me be honest. I didn’t really like The Wizard of Oz. I’ve seen the movie…when I was around 8-12 years old, I remember it being really boring, annoying, and stupid. But Danielle Paige did an amazing job at making this world her own; adding to this story and reconstructing the characters for readers, taking us to after Dorothy left Oz. It was well written, well thought out and action-packed and just totally engaging

I'll post a full review on https://www.wonderfilledreads.com later this week.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I knew it was going to be a little twisted and different, perhaps like the Splintered trilogy. However, this book was even more demented and dark than that and I wasn't even prepared. I LOVED IT. I enjoyed the characters, the twists, even the little bit of insta-love romance wasn't too terrible since it played such a small role. I've seen that the rest of the series has gotten some not-so

I really enjoyed this book! It was a nice twist on the story we know and love. I connected with Amy and I thought she was an interesting character. I enjoyed the story line and each of the characters that came in/out of the story.

I have been wanting to read this book for awhile and I am glad that I finally got around to it. I want to read the next one now and I don't know how I am going to wait a month!

4 Evil must become good stars!!

Everything is all topsy turvy and I don’t just mean because of the tornado. I love retelling of any kind of famous fairy tale and OZ is right up there. There is no slow beginning with this book you dive right into Amy Gumm’s life and it is a not so nice life, which may be kind of a trope in itself the down on her luck girl gets to become the hero. I didn’t care how many tropes I ran into in this book I just ate it right up. It was simple and delightful, and a pure

Easy read. Very interesting reimagining of Oz, pulling from the book and twisting it so that all we thought was Wicked is Good, and all we thought was Good is Wicked, or is it? I enjoyed the parts in Oz, and the heroine's journey was believable, even if I found some of the teen drama bits a bit boring and overdone. I will likely continue the series to see what happens s. ...more
