He writes about his experiences during his residency. I was not impressed. If the goal was to humanize doctors, he failed. He doesn't seem to want to see patients as people, he sees them as assigned tasks in his rotation. Nursing students learn about the arts of nursing - compassion, empathy, dignity. Medical students don't have room in their curriculum and in this book, it shows. ...more
