I honestly cannot put my finger on why, exactly, this book was 3 stars.
The adventure was epic, and I can't wait for the next book. I can see why this is a series that captivates. But, something about it just makes it... 'Meh...'. The story is slightly predictable (but when it's not, ITS NOT!!!). I loved the characters, but couldn't relate to most of them. The list of double-sided problems is endless.
