Like a hot cup of coffee and a walk down a familiar, tree-lined lane, the Walker family holds a warm place in my heart, as does Melissa Tagg's vibrant storytelling and evocative writing in Keep Holding On.
It is with a deep, satisfied sigh that I write my review of Keep Holding On. Not only has the Walker family burrowed deep into my heart, but Kit and Beck's story leaves me truly content, happy, and with "all the feels".

Beckett Walker has spent his life, in some form or another, running away. During his mother’s illness, he struggled to face facts and deal with the severity of his tilted world head on. He left his small town of Maple Valley in pursuit of corporate law, leaving under the most complicated of circumstances. One of those complications is Kit Danby, the best-friend-turned-love-of-his-life. When feelings changed, Beckett left Kit behind for Boston as she left to pursue a life in London. But know both

An apple orchard, a Midwestern autumn, homecomings, family strength in the midst of brokenness, and holding onto the source of hope.
All this and more has made Melissa Tagg's third Walker Family novel my favorite. And it moved me to tears. Twice.
Beckett Walker and Kit Danby grew up together in Maple Valley, Iowa. Two peas in a pod, they stuck together through thick and thin during high school. But years later into their late twenties find them out of contact entirely for six years after one fatef ...more

Another fabulous Walker Family novel. This time we are invited into Beckett Walker's life-the lone brother who took off to Boston to pursue law seven years ago and never look back ... until that one day when the law he broke might prevent him from pursuing his life-long dream.
Right away this story intrigued me because Melissa Tagg has done a phenomenal job drawing us into each member of the Walker family. So when Beck is arrested the day he steps back into Maple Valley in front of his family, t ...more

Where, oh where, do I start? Melissa Tagg writes un-put-down-able books, and this latest in the Walker Family series, is no exception. The setting, the new characters, the old characters. It was all perfection. Can't wait to read Raegan & Bear's story!

Can I just say first of all that I absolutely love the cover of this book? It’s just perfect! I’ve been anxious to read this book since I first heard about it, and I definitely was not disappointed. I’ve read a couple of Melissa Tagg’s books and really enjoyed them. This one grabbed my attention from the first page and just wouldn’t let go. I fell in love with the main characters, Beckett and Kit. They were so realistic and relatable, and I could see the growth in both of them throughout the boo

I absolutely adored this book. Having read each of Melissa's previous books, including the other Walker Family books, I was elated to start Beckett's story. I was not disappointed. It was heartfelt, honest, and true to life. Two best friends finding their way back to each other and learning what they truly want out of life, what a compelling story. I found the characters both relatable and unique. Melissa once again managed to speak directly to my soul in what I needed to hear at that moment. I

Favorite one so far! This one really delved into some deep, emotional trauma that I really, really enjoyed. Beckett is amazing, and I loved his scenes with his siblings, but especially his dad.
Lots of funny moments too! I loved the scene at the beginning of the book which involved Beckett in only a towel. Melissa did a wonderful job balancing the happy/funny and sad/dramatic scenes.
