Someone mentioned this series, which I had not heard of before, so I thought I'd give it a try.
It was okay. Quick, moderately entertaining. The kids did not have much individual personality aside from being generally not very nice. Only the especially awful boy stood out. The author bio said she was a teacher which made this a little sad, especially the attitude that all the kids hate teachers and want to drive them away by being deliberately nasty. Classic simple kid’s’ series opener. A bit trite. A bit outdated, but enjoyable enough with a diverse cast of characters.
