Tina Fey's memoir was pretty funny. There were a few parts where her genius TV humor writing felt weird in a book. It was also a little weird to know that 30 Rock is basically an adaptation of Fey's life. I would have liked to hear more of her thoughts on parenting. The reader's guide at the end was hilarious. I think Tina Fey is a much better comedy TV writer than a memoir writer, but I still enjoyed it.

3 1/2 stars
I didn't know a whole lot about Tina before I started the book.
I learned a lot about her life both before and after Saturday Night Live.
Some funny parts to the book.
who knew she was such a feminist?
A quick read, glad I read the book.

This book is really funny -- I laughed out loud several times while reading. It's a "must read" for anyone who has either been a mother or aworking woman or someone's daughter -- in other words, all women everywhere should read this book!

3.5 stars. This book was funny, and I'm glad I LISTENED to Tina read it herself. It was like Tina was just telling me a bunch of funny stories about her experiences. I'm quite a bit younger than her, and definitely not as "into" show biz, so I didn't get all the references. Entertaining, but surprisingly not as laugh-out-loud funny as I thought it would be. *shrugs*

You'll laugh out loud enough that you can't read it with other people around. Either you'll be anti-social by refusing to explain and read the passages, or your reading will be constantly interrupted if you do.
