Enter, our heroine, Ruth Galloway, forensic archeologist and professor (which is what I believe Temperance Brennan's title from DEJA DEAD is too. I haven't yet reviewed that one and I'm getting behind...the very reason I quit reviewing!) at the University of North Norfolk. Atmospheric, good characters. I enjoyed the combination of archeology and mystery, and the way the landscape was a character itself. I guessed part of the solution from early on, but not in a way that detracted from the story. There was another subplot that didn’t quite make sense, but overall I’m a fan.
