This was a difficult read. I just could not get pulled in. The writing style had a touch of a script and it was off putting. I found myself rushing just to confirm my suspicions and be done with it. I did see a couple of the twists coming but I'm surprised that the book is not in fact a representation of Maddy's writing. I didn't get the payoff I was looking for. A more shocking ending, a different writing format might have made the difference for me. However, I do appreciate the creativity that ...more
