I loved this book! I would have given it 5 stars, but some of the writing was just a little awkward. The ladies, members of a tight-knit orthodox Jewish community in Memphis, were so much fun to get to know. I am a Mormon and grew up in a community where there were not many other Mormons, but now live in a majority Mormon community. this book was very informative about jewish orthodox culture. I really liked that. it was also informative about how difficult it can be for people (specifically female cliques) entrenched in their traditions to wholeheartedly accept someone new that shares their fundamental beliefs, but sees things in a different way.
