One of Peck's early books, but you can see a touch of the same humor that enlivens A Long Way From Chicago and others. The ghost element was pleasantly spooky but a relatively small part of the action - much of the plot centered on how to lay her to rest.

I'm really foggy on what happened in this book versus "Ghosts I Have Been" and I also think I saw a movie version of one of them and that's all mixed up in there too. I remember really liking this series although I think I only read the first two.

I don't remember this book as well as Ghosts I Have Been, though I remember Alexander fondly.
