This was a very interesting story, in my case it was a book club read... Nora is an orphan, raised by a very eccentric surgeon in the 1800's in England, where it is illegal for women to be doctors or even observe surgeries. She is very gifted, both surgically and at anatomotical illustration -- two areas that are considered indelicate for a lady.
