Then, the author adds this mind-bending twist at the end that changes everything, but I think she overdid it, especially at the very end which left me shaking my head, and ruining my suspension of disbelief. The artificiality took me right out of the story. ...more

My library is hosting Gail Giles in October, so I am making my way through her books! I really liked this one. It grabbed my attention right away. It was a quick read and I couldn't wait to see how it was going to end. But, when I got to the end, I was confused. Somebody else read this, so we can discuss!
