The premise was really interesting: a painter whose paintings can make things real hired to paint someone recently dead as living. I mean, if you can fix a crooked nose or a dowager hump by painting, you can certainly revive a human. Right? Sadly, the people were far less interesting and the plot was really predictable. Lots of skimming got me through this.
