This book was actually pretty great... I'll go up .5 and make it a 4.5 read. The only reason it's not a 5 star is that it took me a bit to get into it, and see where it was going. I did not see it ending the way that it did, that's a plus. Actually there were a few surprises in it! The characters are well written and relatable. This is Matthew Sullivan's debut, I will most definitely be looking into more from him!

3 stars for being one of only three books I’ve actually finished this year (it’s been a rough reading year for me so far). This held my attention and I was eager to get back to it when I had to put it down, but I figured out the who far too early. The why seemed very forced - as the basis for the entire story it seemed tacked on at the last minute.
