There was...more exercising in this book than I was anticipating. Like, obviously Nesta has a lot of stuff to work through. And she does a lot of that working through stuff by exercising. It sets up some stuff in terms of how the story plays out, but also, at some points, it's like reading a diary written by one of those people who's gotten really into Cross Fit.

I think if I had read this in peak ACOTAR craze in grad school, this would have gotten 5 stars. I remember literally nothing plot or character wise from the previous books (uh, the (view spoiler) ), except being very excited whenever Cassian and Nesta came up and their chemistry being undeniable.
