A charming southern setting and a very entertaining leading lady. I liked the interplay between Harper, a newly appointed paladin, and her ward, David, the snarky and quirky Oracle. I didn't much care for the way Harper strung along Ryan, 'world's most perfect (if dull) boyfriend." I get that she was conflicted- I think this part of her character was well done- but at some point I desperately wanted to throttle her for the way the golden sunshine boy was being abused (yet again- why is golden su ...more
