I'm surprised that Dan Brown got away with blatantly ripping off this book. (Apparently, the authors did try to sue him but since the book was "nonfiction" then he could not be accused of stealing a "story"). If you read this book as a fictional novel, it actually reads like a better version of Da Vinci Code. Starts of with a trio of amateur researchers doing background work for a historical documentary.
