Well told thriller with engaging characters and a steady plot. I did figure out "whodunnit" well before it was revealed, but it was still far enough in the story for me to be surprised. I'm a little puzzled by all the people who compare it to "Gone Girl," as it is NOTHING like that book (this one had a much more satisfying ending), other than that they both have "girl" in the title. I liked both books--but they are in no way similar. ...more

A good thriller! Rather Gone Girl in its twists and turns. I'm not a huge fan of the alternating first person narratives, but they were used to good effect here. ...more
