Almost the entire time I was reading this, I felt like I knew what the big "shock" would be and when it came, I was like, well that wasn't such a shock now was it. Who couldn't see that coming. Gah. What a terrible book. The plot, the story, the writing... all bad. Repetitive telling of boring points, strangely insecure main character who flips back and forth between irrational fears and over blown sense of self, plot leaps that are either unnecessary or nonsensical... skip it.
