Ok, so please explain this book to me? I finished it yesterday and started re-reading it again at once. I am confused. I listened to A pale view of hills unknowingly on shuffle, so that one got straightened out the second time around, but nah, I am still confused here. Love Ishiguro though, except that gay Remainder of the day-schmaltz.
I'm sorry, I gave up. The dream-like disconnectedness left me feeling sea-sick and confused and generally bored, so I didn't even get half-way through. I don't abandon books very often, but I could just not bring myself to finish this one.

Haven't finished reading it yet. Will surely continue when I find it again. The last time it was borrowed from British Council, Surabaya, if my memory is right.
