I liked it. I didn't love it, but as the parent of an 8 year old, I don't know that I could "love" any book on this subject right now. There seemed to be a lot of stuff that was unnecessary - I thought Clemo was an interesting character but didn't see how the present day information about him moved the story along, and I found the news articles/comments to be disruptive. An intense, gripping novel about a young boy that goes missing told from the perspective of his mother and the detective leading the investigation. Alternating POVs and two narrators that seem to be on the brink of breakdowns was like book crack for me. Perfect vacation reading.
