Having read Genuine Fraud right before this, I was expecting much more in the way of secrets and dramatic twists - the actual secrets were a bit tamer than I expected, but that's probably not fair to this book. There's definitely a lot of repetition due to Flora narrating the story, but it was also fascinating to see how her mind worked. Interesting characterization and plotting, but not a story I really connected to. It did make me want to go to the arctic, though.
