The way the start of this book has been updated from the 80's to pretend it is a new book is quite amusing... I liked it then so we shall see how it matches my memory. They missed a few references, like the line where he has £3 saved up, as if that was alot of money... but that doesn't take anything away from the story.
Now having read it I am not sure how different this is from the original Devil's Doorbell, and its sequel Night of the Scorpion, I do like the Cthulhu concept for kids though. ...more
