What Members Thought
I'm only about 1/3 through this book, so I reserve the right to change my rating in the future, but so far, I'm not that impressed. I'm getting a little tired of the "super-smart, quirky, ridiculously well-spoken-beyond-their-years little kid" character that seems to be in EVERY "literary" middle-grade book nowadays. I also agree with other reviewers that it's a difficult book to place age-wise, a little too mature in terms of language and some themes for juvenile but too young to be interesting
