Giving this four stars for its readability and gripping-ness.
But.
The plot is ludicrous and it hinges on some ridiculous stuff. And the main character is what Gone Girl calls the 'cool girl' - she's a male author's idea of the tough woman. I'm glad Greg Iles grew beyond this book because I like his writing a lot. ...more
