I hope this book gets widely read, by male and female readers. This is a deceptively humorous look at the toxicity of being a girl in gamer culture, and of being brown-skinned as well. Divya isn't a pro, she's not the best, most followed streamer, yet a large group of grown ass white men decide that she doesn't "belong" and needs to be taken care of. There was a lot of promise here in terms of gamergate and doxxing, and how the world of online gaming is not fair to women. That part misses a little, especially at the end. Vox Populii doesn't go too far, which they would have done in the real world.
