I loved this book; I love that the author was like 17 when she started writing it. It's a little clunky and the ending left something to be desired, but hey, who needs perfection?

This book was very difficult to understand. The young girl was so pure and beautiful I can not understand why she could go for such a older man. It was heart warming at parts but very sad and depressing at many parts. It was very hard to read about a young teen being held by a old man. Odd but I guess there was something with that made me like it. Different, deep, and chilling.

I found it interesting that the author dropped out of school at 15(?) to write this book. I'm not sure if my parents would have supported me at all, and I wonder if her parents supported her.
